Tooth Whitening
One of our most popular cosmetic procedures, professional tooth whitening is a fast and effective way to improve your smile. We offer two types of tooth whitening treatments:
At-Home Professional Tooth Whitening
At-home tooth whitening kits consist of a custom dental tray designed to comfortably fit over your teeth, and a specially formulated whitening solution that will safely and gently remove stains and dullness, leaving you with a whiter, brighter, more youthful looking smile.
Your home whitening procedure will require several applications, done over a period of time in the comfort of your own home. The number of applications and the strength of the whitening gel will depend on the current color of your teeth, and on your desired results.

Whitening Instructions
It is important that you apply the teeth whitening gel properly so you do not waste any of the gel and that you experience the least amount of sensitivity while using the gel.
- Before Whitening: Brush and floss just prior to bleaching your teeth. The whitening gel is the most effective with clean teeth. Try the trays in first without any bleach to check the fit and comfort. Make sure that the bleaching trays are clean and dry before applying the whitening gel. Moisture reduces the efficiency of the whitening gel and slows down the whitening process.
- Place a small drop of gel into the front of every compartment of the tray for the teeth undergoing treatment.
- Insert the whitening tray over the teeth. Seat the tray firmly against the teeth. Wipe any excess gel that seeps from the tray onto your gums with a tissue or dry toothbrush. Wear the tray with the gel as directed below.
- After Whitening: Remove the tray and rinse off your teeth. Brush & floss to fully remove any excess gel. You may initially notice white splotches on teeth following removal of tray. This is typically caused by dehydration of the teeth and should diminish within 1-2 days. For 1-2 days following bleaching, do not eat or drink things that may cause teeth staining (i.e., coffee, tea, red wine, berries, curry, mustard).
In-Office Teeth Whitening
Our in-office whitening procedures are completed in a single office visit, with dramatic whitening results.
When you arrive for your appointment, we will protect your gums and lips, then we will gently apply a custom whitening gel to the teeth to be whitened. Once the gel is applied, we wait then rinse and repeat until we achieve the desired results. After a short period, your teeth will be fully whitened.
